1. mod_vatsim

   Module Vatsim displays pilots who are flying on Vatsim Server.
   Module is very fast thanks to caching techinqs.
   It is a must module for virtual airlines.
   Pilots can view their positions on Google map.
   There are a lot of options and two layouts.
   One with bootstrap and one with flight board style.

   

   

2. mod_splay

   A joomla module that showcases articles that are currently trending.
   Articles are considered trending when they surpass a certain amount of hits in a given time.
   The administrator can set the amount of hits, the given time, the number of menu items and horizontal or vertical menu layout.

   The trending articles are determined by a MySql scheduled event and are managed under a Splay tree in order to optimize the database operations.

   This module was created by I.Smirnios for his diploma in Computers Engineering & Informatics department of University of Patras in cooperation with Graphics, Multimedia & GIS Laboratory.

   This module has been tested for Joomla! version 2.5 and Joomla! version 3.3 .

   In order for this joomla module to work correctly the following admin rights should be enabled for the sql user of the joomla implementation:
   EVENT
   SUPER

   The system variable thread_stack should also be set to at least 2mb.

4. JUX Basic Weather

   In some news websites, with a large a mount of viewer, there are some of them need information about weather. It will help viewer have more information about weather in their schedule, and that is the reason why JoomlaUX team has created JUX Basic Weather module for Joomla 3.

   JUX Basic Weather is a module built to help users to select location and check its weather forecast. The module also provides efficient configuration to display more detailed information of weather forecast such as humidity, visibility, wind and forecast of the next 5 days.

   Following are features of JUX Basic Weather

   • Select forecast information from weather.com or Yahoo.com

   • Fetch information of city where you need to check forecast detail

   • Option to display certain detail of weather forecast

5. Menu Links Majix

   The idea behind this plugin is simple, we wanted an easy way to create links or buttons on our site that would be linked to a menu item. This way if our site structure changed, we wouldn't have to redo all of our links. This plugin in no way replaces any menu system, but rather allows you to create links in an easy to use method.

   This is a Content Plugin that helps to create links on your site. You can create a link from any menu item either an internal or external link. Style the links to show as buttons with the default menu title or a custom menu title.
